Dr. Ronald Rainey
Ronald Rainey was a childhood resident of Center Community. He is now a Professor of Agricultural Economics with Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. He is the current director for the Southern Risk Management and Education Center for the United States Department of Agriculture. Dr. Rainey also organized and serves as a key leader for the Arkansas Farmer’s Markets Association. Dr. Rainey will provide key input on agriculture programs the Foundation will run and will also be a key contact for agricultural programs and resource to other state agencies for collaborations.
Joanie Burgener
Financial Advisor
Joanie Burgener is a client advisor with Arvest Wealth Management and provides input on financial oversight for the Foundation. She dedicates her attention to helping clients with their wealth management needs through professional advice and planning. She graduated from Wonderview High School which residents of Center Community attend.
Rene Henderson MSN, RN
Renee Henerson graduate of the University of Central AR. Mrs. Henderson is the State Director of Nursing for the Regular AR Baptist Convention and the first African American commissioner to serve on the Faulkner County election commission. She is a member of the UCA women leadership network. She has received numerous honors for her work serving the community, including being named the Shelley Mehl empowerment award 2020 and the Human Rights award 2019 for her efforts in leadership, mentor, a social activist in human rights and human development. Additional community service includes serving as a candidate for Faulkner County Justice of the Peace (JP Mayflower area 2018-2020). Finally, she is mentoring and training the next generations of nurses by serving as a Professor of nursing for 8 years at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff serving, underprivileged, underprepared nursing students who graduated with their BSN and recommendations for MSN programs!!! Her years of community engagement and service help provide connections to other organizations throughout the state and provide insight in the programs proposed/provided by the Foundation.
